Katie Mihalek is a poet and writer currently based between Rhode Island and Massachusetts. She is a current doctoral student at University of Rhode Island, studying ecopoetics and concentrating in poetry. She completed her MFA from Emerson College in 2024. She has received support from the Kenyon Review Writer’s Workshop and the Southampton Writers Conference. She is a co-founder and the Poetry Editor of Fork Apple Press. She is the author of the chapbook Aurora Uteralis (2024), and her work has appeared in Frontier, TIMBER, Barnstorm, and others.
